Start with the task, not a speed claim
Both products address writing by voice. Wispr Flow presents dictation across apps and also offers a notetaker. Dicteit combines dictation with its Sessions workspace for transcripts, summaries and action items.
This is a guide from the Dicteit team, not an independent benchmark. We have not run a controlled accuracy comparison and do not claim that either product is universally faster or more accurate.
Try the same three tasks
Dictate a short email, a paragraph with your own specialist vocabulary and a message with a correction halfway through. Use the same microphone and application. Compare the amount of editing, whether insertion worked and whether the finished text still sounds like you.
For recorded conversations, check the transcript as well as the summary. Look for missing contributions, incorrect speaker names and action items that were never agreed. These matter more than an impressive sample sentence.
Compare plans against your actual use
Dicteit’s Free plan includes 2,000 dictation words each week and excludes session recording. Premium is listed at $7.99 per month, or 169 Kč in Czech pricing, with unlimited dictation and session notes. Upgrades are handled from the app.
Check Wispr Flow’s current pricing page for its limits and platform availability. Plans change; do not assume the two free tiers include the same features. The Dicteit download on this site currently targets Apple silicon Macs.
Keep the tool that removes work
The right choice is the one you can use in your real applications with the least correction and interruption. Test your languages, permissions and audio setup before committing. If you need offline processing or a particular compliance guarantee, verify it explicitly rather than inferring it from a product category.
